Job summary

Power Systems Mfg., Llc in Beaumont, TX seeks a Senior Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to support a major natural gas customer. The role covers controls commissioning, maintenance, and software updates, with heavy focus on Mark VIe systems and cross-functional collaboration across engineering teams.

The candidate will develop KPIs, mentor staff, and coordinate outage planning, ensuring reliable operation of covered equipment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of GE Mark controllers and HMI experience.
• Experience with MarkV-IDOS, Ovation, or Siemens control systems is a plus.
• Gas turbine architecture and related systems knowledge.
• Experience with instrument calibration and recommissioning after inspection.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Multilingual candidates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform controls commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and software/hardware upgrades.
• Develop KPIs covering the duties with company.
• Train engineers and technicians; create on-the-job training.
• Mentor staff in troubleshooting and analysis.
• Develop maintenance schedules to improve reliability and availability.
• Coordinate outage planning and create detailed work scopes.
• Other duties as assigned.
