Who You Are: You’ve got 10+ years of experience in designing and building industrial control systems and UL Listed control panels. You're a self-starter. You're that person who wants to know everything about everything and has as many as 20 tabs open at a time. You don't need much direction and like being thrown into the fray. Your motto is, I'll figure it out.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing: No two days are alike at Cogito, but some of your responsibilities will include the following:

1. Control System Design
2. Drawing Review
3. Documentation Creation
4. PLC Programming (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens experience required)
5. HMI Programming (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens experience required)
6. Industrial Ethernet Configuration
7. Field Commissioning

Qualifications

1. BSEE or bachelor’s degree in a related field
2. 10+ years of experience working with automation and industrial control systems, specifically designing and building control systems and panels
3. Advanced knowledge of all aspects of PLC/PAC design and programming- Allen-Bradley & Siemens strongly preferred
4. Advanced knowledge of database setup, configuration, stored procedure programming, and other aspects of database control as it relates to industrial applications
5. Advanced knowledge of HMI and SCADA applications
6. Familiar with Rockwell Software FactoryTalk, Inductive Automation and at least one additional environment
7. Knowledge of industrial networks like Ethernet/IP
8. Exceptional verbal and written communication
9. Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle
10. Willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%)
11. Willing to submit to a background check
