Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Tigard, OR is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead Rockwell/Allen Bradley integrations and SCADA development for client projects across semiconductor, pulp and paper, and food & beverage industries.
The role emphasizes system integration, PLC/HMI programming, ISA-standard practices, and guiding junior engineers on complex projects while traveling up to 25% to job sites. This position is on-site in our Tigard office.

We have a Senior Controls Engineer - Rockwell Systems Integration position available in our Tigard, OR office. This position is geared towards a systems integrator with experience programming Rockwell / Allen Bradley control systems and Ignition or GE SCADA applications. This person will be responsible for systems integration project requirements involving PLC programming, HMI programming, SCADA development, instrumentation, check-out support, and start-up assistance.
Please Note: This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
Education BSEE or BS in Controls Engineering is preferred. An AA in Engineering Technology or equivalent with equivalent experience may be substituted.
Experience Five to ten years in areas below is preferred:
Seeing, color perception, hearing, clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, lifting, climbing, and ability to mount and dismount equipment, pushing, and pulling.
Standard office environment, On-site office environment, and diverse industrial environments. Frequent PC usage, fax machines, copy machines, phones.
