Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience, 10+ preferred.
• Related degree or equivalent work experience.
• Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to interface with the customer in a professional manner.
• Be considered an expert at using any platform of Automation and logic controllers.
• Be considered an expert at selecting, developing, and implementing vision systems.
• Be considered an expert in multiple robot platforms.
• Know programming, commissioning, and debug labor hour requirements for any size project.
• Must possess strong project management skills as it relates to controls engineering.
• Must be willing to help train junior engineers and technicians.
• Robotics/AMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program execution within budget.
• Proficient at concepting and quoting.
• Proficiently lead teams.
• Troubleshooting systems.
• Proficient at interfacing with customers.
• Develop programming standards and code templates.
• Meet deadlines and take a project from start to finish.
• Lead large and small projects on site and at customer facilities.
• Design system architecture for machine control systems, including electrical schematics and network diagrams.
• Interface with MES systems and lead junior engineers.
