Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our team of experts delivering control system projects for life sciences, mission critical, metals & mining, and distribution sectors. You will design, deploy, test, and maintain control solutions, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

You will lead design and startup activities, develop documentation, and provide on-site and remote support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently on projects with an organized, methodical approach.
• Understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% (mostly local with remote support).

Responsibilities

• Support design, deployment, testing, and maintenance of control system projects.
• Develop/modify design documentation, SOPs, and sequence of operations.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, & SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote commissioning system design changes.
• Collaborate with installation teams to monitor progress and QA/QC installations.
• Travel for design, development, and start-up at client facilities as needed.
• Uphold core values and focus on client success and professional development.
