Qualifications

• 6+ years in controls engineering or related industrial equipment.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with HMI development and electrical controls troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs.
• Experience with industrial machinery, automation systems, or CNC equipment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting in shop-floor, build, or field service environments.
• Able to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, service, and production teams.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and support PLC and HMI programs.
• Support controls activities for custom builds, retrofits, upgrades, and customer projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical, software, and machine-control issues during build, startup, and commissioning.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, motion systems, safety circuits, networks.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical docs.
• Support startup, debugging, validation, customer acceptance, and field commissioning.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, service, production, and international teams.
• Provide technical support for customers and internal teams.
• Assist with controls standards, documentation, and process improvements.
• Maintain focus on safety, reliability, and long-term equipment performance.
