Job summary

Magnum Search Group is partnering with a market leader in the boiler/burner/controls industry to recruit a skilled Controls Engineer for Milwaukee, WI. The role offers relocation from anywhere in the United States and significant exposure to Rockwell-based control systems.

You will specify, verify and implement controls requirements, support development and validation, and troubleshoot PLCs in live facilities while collaborating with maintenance and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; in some cases equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum 5 years controls engineering experience.
• PMP certification is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Specify and verify controls requirements on new and retrofitted equipment and maintain drawings.
• Support new equipment controls development through validation, start-up and continuous improvement.
• Design controls systems or retrofits on equipment and support PLC maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and modify logic in live production environments.
• Coordinate with contractors to uphold site standards and safety.
• Document changes and support validation and risk assessments.
