Job summary

Sharp Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, program and qualify industrial and serialization control systems. The role involves PLC/HMI development, data configuration, and coordinating with clients, vendors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens and B&R PLCs, plus strong IT/OT networking and vision system know-how. Responsibilities include installation, validation, and reporting to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharmaceutical packaging, electrical controls and serialization is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens and B&R PLCs and related software.

Responsibilities

• Design and qualification of control systems and serialization configurations.
• Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts and component selection.
• Mentor engineers and technicians, and interface with clients and vendors.
• Install, commission and support validation activities for equipment.
• Generate EPCIS/site data reports for analysis and compliance.
• Ensure data formats and standards across Sharp systems.
