Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Controls Engineer to join its Test & Automation Team in West Lebanon, NH. The role focuses on designing and developing bespoke automation systems that improve manufacturing operations through innovation, reliability, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will lead hardware-software integration using Allen-Bradley PLCs, vision systems, and modern automation platforms, while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in industrial controls, automation, or machine design.
• Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming, including Logix 5000 and RS Linx.
• Hands-on experience with robotics integration, machine vision systems, and automated equipment development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom automation solutions incorporating motion control systems, actuators, servo presses, sensors, gauges, motors, and SCADA platforms.
• Lead the controls and electrical design of custom machinery and automated test systems for manufacturing environments.
• Ensure equipment meets quality, safety, reliability, and operational performance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions that enhance manufacturing performance.
• Drive projects from concept through implementation and commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
