Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineer to support operation, design, and optimization of advanced data center infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve performance across the lifecycle, ensuring stable and efficient systems.

The role requires hands-on work with BMS/EPMS, PLCs, HMI development, and integration of safety and efficiency measures. Evening/weekend shifts may be needed, and pre-employment drug testing is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Controls/Automation or related).
• 5+ years hands-on experience with industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and modify BMS/EPMS and SCADA systems for data centers.
• Operate chillers, pumps, and power distribution using PLCs and related tech.
• Develop HMI specifications and graphics for operator interpretation.
• Create automated controls for fire safety and ESOP procedures.
• Build dashboards to monitor PUE and performance/cost; adjust setpoints for efficiency.
• Coordinate with utility providers for demand and response automation.
