Job summary
CES/AWS in Lansing, MI is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to supervise, manage, and maintain electrical and control systems on manufacturing equipment. This hands-on role supports production, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Trade certification preferred (Industrial Electrician or Millwright).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of controls engineering experience in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems.
- Develop and implement controls for manufacturing cells and equipment.
- Provide technical leadership to production and maintenance teams.
- Support equipment installation and documentation.
- Troubleshoot downtime and improve productivity.
- Research and implement new automation technologies.
- Assist with spare parts planning and sourcing.
