Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for the Milk Bone Buffalo facility. You will serve as the site’s technical expert for controls, automation, and electrical power systems, leading projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and plant performance.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to solve complex manufacturing challenges. You will mentor E&I technicians, support robotics and MES applications, and shape the technology roadmap while

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in engineering with automation/controls focus.
Strong understanding of controls or electrical engineering concepts.
Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

Serve as the site's technical expert for controls, automation and electrical power systems.
Lead automation, controls and electrical infrastructure projects to improve reliability and plant performance.
Drive the site's controls and power systems roadmap including modernization initiatives and upgrades.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to solve manufacturing challenges and reduce losses.
Mentor E&I technicians and develop technical talent.
