Job summary

Control System Integrators in Warren, MI is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the engineering, design, development, and testing of electrical control systems for manufacturing and process operations. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Automation / Controls experience required.
• Significant Powertrain experience
• Preferred Bachelor’s or Associate degree
• Exposure to GFACs, SiFACS and GM GPS (Powertrain Standards)
• Lead a group of engineers and mentor junior engineers
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting

Responsibilities

About the Role

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform control system engineering and design using standardized methods and practices
• Detailing and design of electrical control panels

Qualifications

• 8+ years Automation / Controls experience
• Bachelors preferred or equivalent work experience
• Significant Powertrain Experience
• Exposure to GFACs, SiFACS and GM GPS (Powertrain Standards)
• Able to lead a group of engineers and mentor lesser experienced engineers
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting
• Rockwell and Siemens HMI/PLC experience required
• Perform control system engineering and design using standardized methods and practices

• Editing and entering programmable operator interface software

Education and Experience

• Required minimum High School Diploma with 8 years minimum of Automation / Controls experience
• Preferred Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Detailing and design of electrical control panels
• GCCH and GCCS certifications for some clients
• OSHA 10, Lockout training certificate preferred
