Eaton Corporation is seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop model-based controls for power electronic circuit protection technology. The position requires collaboration with a diverse team, focusing on low and medium voltage applications.
Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering, possess experience with Matlab/Simulink, and have a minimum of 2 years in the field. Aptitude for both teamwork and independent problem-solving is essential.
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and testing model based design controls for power electronic based circuit protection technology and products. The individual will work together with a diverse cross‑functional team of engineers to drive the development of the model based control systems and subsystems for circuit protection products to be used in both low voltage and medium voltage AC & DC applications.
Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, HiL (hardware in the loop) systems together with knowledge of embedded firmware implementation for real time systems is required in order for the individual to accelerate the development of advanced control schemes used in our protection oriented components and technology platforms.
