Job summary

Elevate Recruiting partners with a well-established manufacturing and distribution organization to seek an experienced Controller to lead its accounting operations and financial reporting. The role emphasizes multi-entity consolidation, cost accounting, and strong leadership to drive accurate, compliant financial statements.

The incumbent will strengthen processes, implement scalable controls, and collaborate with executive leadership to optimize working capital, cash flow, and profitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or controllership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and multi-entity consolidations.
• Manufacturing, distribution, inventory/cost accounting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams and improve processes in a growth environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements across multiple entities per US GAAP.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting activities.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax reporting, and external financial requests.
• Partner with finance and operations to optimize working capital and cash flow.
• Support cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and financial risk management.
• Ensure accurate AR, reserves, and related activities; oversee inventory and cost accounting.
