This role requires a CPA and 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 10+ years in senior mortgage servicing leadership, with deep U.S. GAAP knowledge and MSR expertise. You will drive controls, budgeting, process improvements, and team development.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with 10+ years in senior mortgage servicing leadership.
• CPA or equivalent certification and CPA licensure is required.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, MSR accounting/valuation, investor reporting, audits and controls.
• Experience with mortgage servicing platforms and enterprise systems such as SAP/Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise accounting, payroll, accounts payable, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Oversee MSR accounting and valuation, investor reporting, cash flow, balance-sheet reconciliations and intercompany activity.
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors and support regulatory and financial audits.
• Document accounting positions under U.S. GAAP and strengthen internal controls.
• Improve systems, policies, procedures, and reporting; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing accounting team and present complex matters to executives.
