Smith Industries seeks an experienced, hands-on Controller to lead financial operations across fabrication and utility infrastructure projects. You will work with executive leadership, operations, supply chain, and finance to oversee financial reporting, job costing, inventory controls, cash flow management, and operating performance as the organization scales.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
7+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
Manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, EPC, or construction accounting experience strongly preferred.
Experience with ERP systems and inventory accounting required.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare and oversee financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial compliance.
Support external audits, tax coordination, and financial reporting requirements.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across business operations.
