Job summary

Bridgepoint Consulting, an Addison Group Company, is seeking a Controller to join our growing Financial Operations practice in the US. You will serve as a strategic partner to support interim and project-based accounting for clients, collaborating with CFOs, CEOs, and investors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years as a Controller.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Willingness to travel throughout your local market, while occasionally supporting national markets.
• Strong desire for consulting-style work and delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience leading and managing operations of an accounting department.
• Solid track record of developing and optimizing the accounting and finance functions to support growth and scalability.
• Interpersonal skills to develop effective interdepartmental relationships; IT, HR, Operations oversight is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of budgeting and forecasting with complex, dynamic financial models.
• Experience maintaining and/or implementing effective internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior financial management and accounting services to clients with the highest level of professionalism.
• Partner with CFOs, CEOs, executive teams, bankers, private equity firms, legal and tax advisors, and investors to drive client success.
• Help client companies execute growth strategies, take on new initiatives, and implement processes and improvements.
