Responsibilities

• Validate revenue recognition in line with current accounting standards
• Build the cash-forecast that tells when to draw the line of credit
• Assist with quarterly investor reporting and high-trust financial narratives
• Price out vendor contracts and surface the savings nobody else spotted
• Partner with department heads across Santa Clarita, CA to keep budgets honest
• Track every finance expense back to a source document
• Hold the line on capitalization policy across every finance project
• Sit beside the Santa Clarita controller on accruals, deferrals, and journal entries
