Job summary

State Technical College of Missouri is seeking a Full-time, 12-month, exempt Controller to join the Business Office. The position operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., requires strong accounting expertise, and salary starts at $125,000 with increases based on experience.

The successful candidate will lead all accounting operations, prepare complex financial statements, oversee grants and payroll, and ensure compliance with policy and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively responsible advanced accounting experience, including preparation of complex financial statements.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all Business Office staff and departments.
• Oversee all accounting operations of the College.
• Ensure grant requirements are followed and grant billings are completed and submitted timely.
• Assist with payroll, annual audit, budget, and compliance work.
