Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5–10+ years in banking finance, advanced Excel, and experience with banking software and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10+ years in accounting or finance, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with banking software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of Call Reports and regulatory filings; audits & examiner relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and monthly close.
• Manage general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, reconciliations.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements.
• Ensure regulatory reporting compliance (FDIC, Fed, OCC).
• Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor liquidity and capital ratios.
• Develop accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise accounting staff.
• Support core banking system conversions or financial software implementations when needed.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions.
