Texas A&M Engineering seeks a Controller (Accounting Manager) to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance for INSPIRE Alliance. You will lead Deltek Costpoint implementation and ensure accurate contract and grant accounting in a growing nonprofit environment.

The candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and ten years’ related experience with supervisory duties; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten years of related experience to include two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger and financial close.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing administration of Deltek Costpoint or a comparable system.
• Monitor contract expenditures and financial reporting for federal contracts, grants, and sponsored programs.
• Develop accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections; support audits and reporting.
