Job summary

Plasticade, a growing manufacturing firm in Des Plaines, IL, seeks an experienced Controller to oversee accounting across multiple locations and drive consolidation at the group level.

You will partner with the CFO to shape financial strategy, ensure GAAP compliance, and lead site controllers through a period of ERP optimization and acquisitions. The role requires strong leadership and hands-on capability in a complex, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in multi-site or multi-entity settings.
• Experience at controller level or above with enterprise responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidation, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership of accounting teams and site controllers.
• Experience in high-growth, acquisitive environments and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level oversight of accounting across Plasticade Cortina Group locations.
• Lead consolidated financial reporting and monthly/quarterly/annual close at group level.
• Partner with CFO to drive financial strategy, policies, and alignment.
• Oversee site controllers and accounting teams with standardized processes.
• Lead integration of acquired businesses and align systems and controls.
• Direct external audits and liaise with auditors at consolidated level.
• Drive process improvements and ERP/system optimization across entities.
• Support executive decisions with financial insights and cross-functional analysis.
