Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Senior Control Systems Technician to provide technical support and field coordination on control system projects and service teams. The role requires leadership in installation, start-up, commissioning, FAT, and ongoing troubleshooting.

Qualified candidates typically hold an Associate degree with 5–8+ years of experience, including lead roles in control systems, instrument calibration, and IT/network aspects of systems integration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5 to 8+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years as Lead Control Systems Technician II or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead project installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Lead instrument loop checks and calibrations.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair control systems.
• Perform FAT and document results.
• Wire instruments and control panels; read P&ID diagrams.
• Demonstrate understanding of IT/network aspects related to control systems.
