Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Control Systems Engineering Specialist, Senior to lead automation and control projects in our Houston, TX office. Responsibilities include developing OT hardware specifications, programming control logic, and creating HMI graphics across OEM apps.

The role requires 7+ years in industrial control systems (Honeywell/Experion or DeltaV preferred), strong troubleshooting skills, and fluent English. Travel/driver’s license may be needed; HSSE standards apply.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree in a technical field is minimum.
Hands-on programming experience with industrial control systems or robotics.
7+ years in industrial control systems, preferably Honeywell/Emerson platforms.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Fluent in English; proficient with Office 365.

Responsibilities

Lead automation and control systems projects, including documentation and meetings.
Develop control system logic using ST, ladder and function charts.
Create HMI graphics across OEM applications.
Provide technical support for loop checks, installation and commissioning.
Coordinate with operations, vendors and technical staff.
Track schedule and project budget; ensure HSSE compliance.
