In the role of Senior Control Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
  1. Leading complex control systems engineering projects across all phases—planning, design, and implementation.
  2. Serving as Engineer of Record for SCADA/I&C construction documents, ensuring technical excellence.
  3. Overseeing system integration, including PLC/DCS/SCADA programming and HMI development.
  4. Mentoring design teams and coordinating workload to meet schedules and deliverables.
  5. Developing innovative solutions in advanced automation, operational tech (OT), AI, and data analytics.
  6. Writing and editing I&C specifications, selecting devices and technologies, and ensuring code compliance.
  7. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients on proposals, project scoping, and execution.
  8. Reviewing electrical documentation, resolving cross-discipline conflicts, and supporting construction administration.
  9. Performing QA/QC on peer work and contributing to a culture of excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of advanced control systems topics including data management, AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, network architecture.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of applicable experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Automation programming experience.
  • Experience designing control systems.
  • Experience managing control systems projects.
  • Knowledge of automation hardware (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Foxboro, Modicon, Siemens, GE).
  • Knowledge of automation software (e.g., Wonderware, iFix, FactoryTalk, VTScada, Ignition).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Active participation in our employee-owned culture is essential.
