Job summary

Campos Fabrication is seeking a Senior Electrical Panel Shop Technician in Minnesota to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels. You will interpret blueprints, schematics, and job orders to determine materials and assembly steps, ensuring safety standards and high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes wiring proficiency, panel layout, and adherence to industry regulations. A minimum of 4+ years’ panel assembly experience and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of panel assembly experience.
• High school diploma / GED.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring, control panels and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and enclosures per approved workmanship standards.
• Perform point-to-point wiring on electrical panels and power distribution boxes using provided tools.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine materials and assembly steps.
• Position, align, and adjust components to facilitate wiring and assembly.
• Primary focus is wiring panels to ensure proper function and safety.
• Layout components in cabinets of varying sizes.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Panel Shop Technician with experience in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels. Candidates should be proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and contributing to team success in fast-paced environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosure.
• Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
• The primary focus will be spent wiring panels therefore it is imperative that candidate be proficient at wiring.
• Layout of components in various size cabinets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 4+ years of panel assembly experience
• High school diploma /GED
• Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring, control panels and instrumentation,

Salary: $27-40/hr (Commensurate with experience)
