Job summary

Keel is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support proposal development, review and negotiate contract terms with government and commercial customers, and work with program managers to ensure contracts are maintained.

This position will have responsibility for ITAR/EAR compliance and FAR/DFARS knowledge, and will involve mentoring junior members of the contracts team while collaborating with the Director of Contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Political Science or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in contract management, private sector and government contracting.
• Direct experience with defense industry government organizations; professional certification (e.g. CFCM, CPCM).
• Contract management, effective oral and written communication, attention to detail, leadership, FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, CMMC knowledge, MS Office & MS Project.
• Organizational & motivational abilities; works well with others; able to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development, review/negotiation of government and commercial contract terms.
• Complete contract review process prior to award; assist in developing procedures for compliance.
• Ensure corporate compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and CMMC requirements; manage contract documents.
• Coordinate responses with Subject Matter Experts and manage NDA execution; register in portals.
• Mentor junior members of the contracts team and advise senior management.
