A leading aerospace firm in Fort Worth is seeking a Sr. Contracts Specialist to support contract management and administration for government and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree in a related field, with over 5 years' experience in federal and commercial contracts, and knowledge of the federal acquisition process. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong commitment to compliance, and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
Qualifications
Solid knowledge of basic contracting principles and all contract types.
5+ years’ experience with federal, commercial and some international contracts.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
Support the review and risk analysis of solicitations.
Participate in bid/no bid decisions and proposal review meetings.
Review cost proposals and maintain pricing data for compliance.
Administer a variety of government/commercial contracts.
Prepare and coordinate business correspondence and reports.
Monitor program performance and notify of potential issues.
Coordinate with Legal on significant contract matters.
