Job summary

Suncor Energy Inc. in the Denver area is seeking a Source to Contract (S2C) Professional in Supply Chain to support the Commerce City Refinery. You will lead the development, sourcing, negotiation, and lifecycle management of contracts that enable operations and strategic objectives.

This role emphasizes building strong stakeholder relationships, delivering commercial value, managing risk, and guiding contracting processes across maintenance, engineering, and support services.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in contracts management, category management, and strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead commercial terms negotiations.
• Understanding of contracting processes and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop go-to-market strategy and bid evaluation criteria for all levels of complexity.
• Evaluate, develop, and recommend commercial strategies for high-value contracts.
• Lead negotiations for material and service contracts, including terms and documentation.
• Determine contracting requirements to drive value and motivate supplier performance.
• Support contract changes and close-out with performance feedback.
• Ensure commercial requirements are met and manage supplier performance issues.
• Support site demand planning with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Projects.
• Provide guidance to SCM Advisors and stakeholders on negotiation practices.
