Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Contracts Manager 2 in Melbourne, FL, to lead the contracts team supporting the Modernization Business Area. The role requires in-person work and interaction with Program Managers and stakeholders across Global Supply Chain, Law, and Business Management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (7+ years) or a Master's/JD (5+ years) in contracts, finance, or proposals, with aerospace/defense experience and active clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or master's/JD with related professional experience in contracts, finance, or proposals
• Aerospace and defense industry experience
• Experience coordinating with program management, subcontracts, pricing, business management, and supply chain management
• Experience negotiating and administering various government contract types and compliance with FAR/DFARS
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearances (Secret) and SAP clearance

Responsibilities

• Administers, extends, and negotiates standard and nonstandard contracts
• Executes contract proposals, negotiation, administration, and customer contact per policies
• Facilitates information flow between program managers, legal, supply chain, and other stakeholders
• Prepares bids, reviews specifications, and maintains historical data
• Organizes cross-functional processes, tools, systems, and procedures
• Ensures timely responses to data requests and inquiries
• Leads and mentors the contracts team
• Communicates industry developments and manages multiple priorities
