Job summary

RealREPP is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of contracts for federal and public sector coastal construction projects. The role requires a strong compliance background, adept negotiation, and willingness to travel to client meetings by private jet.

Office-based with C-Suite and legal team, Monday through Friday. You will act as trusted advisor on contract strategy, ensure regulatory compliance (FAR/DFARS), and collaborate across legal, procurement, finance, sales,

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of federal/public sector contract management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Master's degree, JD, or professional certification preferred (NCMA, CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Strong technical writing skills; change order compliance.
  • Knowledge of government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS) preferred.
  • Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions is a PLUS.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor on contract strategy, structure, and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Partner with legal counsel, procurement, finance, sales, and business leaders to facilitate contract negotiations and approvals.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract management best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits related to contractual matters.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation within contract management systems.
  • Providing guidance to QC department personnel to remain in compliance with contract specs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The selected Senior Contracts Manager will be supporting the C-Suite with the full lifecycle of contracts for federal and public sector coastal construction projects. A strong compliance background, negotiating skills, and a willingness to travel to client meetings by private jet is required for serious consideration. This position works from the office M-F alongside company executives and legal personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor on contract strategy, structure, and administration
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements
  • Monitor contract performance and conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to contractual obligations
  • Partner with legal counsel, procurement, finance, sales, and business leaders to facilitate contract negotiations and approvals
  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract management best practices
  • Support internal and external audits related to contractual matters
  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation within contract management systems
  • Providing guidance to QC department personnel to remain in compliance with contract specs

Compensation Package
  • Salary $170k-$200k (based on experience)
