Job summary

City of Atlanta seeks a seasoned professional to supervise and evaluate certification and monitoring across EBO, SBE, and DBE programs. Lead complex projects, provide expert guidance, and train staff while promoting equal business opportunities with the City.

Role entails oversight of bid reviews, reports, data analysis, and coordination with Law and Purchasing to ensure ordinances are followed. Strong leadership and procurement knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; substitution possible for exceptional experience.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Master’s degree preferred; 6–8 years of experience.
• ACCA certification may be obtained during career.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter expertise in Project Development meetings.
• Prepares Appendix A documents for inclusion in eligible RFPs and Bids.
• Administers web-based B2GNow Compliance software and OCC webpage; mediates disputes.
• Directs monitoring activities of contract compliance specialists.
• Conducts site visits to ensure EBO/SBO/DBE compliance; writes site visit reports.
• Performs diversity outreach activities.
• Participates in post‑award conferences and staff assignments for monthly monitoring.
• Assist in planning, preparation, and administration of OCC budget.
• Prepares reports of Department activities for City personnel.
