Job summary

Northrop Grumman invites applications for a Contracts Administrator – Level 4, located in Redondo Beach, Oxnard, or Goleta, CA. This 100% onsite role requires up to 10% travel between locations and centers on supporting proposal prep, negotiations, and contract administration for DoD programs.

You will collaborate across functions to ensure compliance, manage changes, and maintain data in the contract management system, while building customer relationships and delivering on government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience.
• No clearance required to start.
• Experience working large DoD proposals.
• Experience negotiating and administering various contract types with the DoD.
• Thorough understanding of FAR/DFAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contracts and program to ensure obligations are understood and tracked.
• Participate in contract proposal coordination for timely submission.
• Negotiate complex contracts, including commercial and international, under tight deadlines.
• Manage contract administration and customer activities per company policies and requirements.
• Collaborate with technical, program, finance, and supply chain teams for seamless administration.
• Manage contract changes and maintain historical data.
• Review terms and conditions to address risks and mitigation strategies.
• Build strong relationships with customers across geographies.
• Enter contract data into the management system and prioritize multiple tasks.
