Position Overview

Strategic Sourcing, comprising multiple departments, supports our enterprise-wide non-labor contract infrastructure. Its mission is to maximize clinical and financial value on products, equipment, services, IT applications, and support to strengthen our One Ministry, committed to excellence through a robust foundation of common products.

Skills Set

1. Strategic thinkers who understand the impact of contracts on operations
2. Ability to identify risks and escalate appropriately
3. Skilled in gaining cooperation and closing deals with suppliers and partners
4. Professional handling of objections and workload
5. Analyzes complex categories to identify business solutions
6. Knowledge of sourcing processes from requirements gathering to RFI, RFP, and contracting
7. Develops KPIs and identifies savings opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
• 8 years of experience in Contract Management or related healthcare/corporate contracting
• 5 years in Contract Management or sourcing in Medical Surgical, Physician Specialty, Purchased Services, or IT applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent
• 6 years of People management experience
• 5 years managing IT application knowledge (if applicable)
• 3 years managing Physician Specialty Implantable Devices (if applicable)

Salary Range

Varies by location, e.g., AK Anchorage: $48.27 - $76.22, California Humboldt: $50.32 - $79.45, etc.
