Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced reinsurance contracts professional to manage the full lifecycle of contracts for assigned accounts, draft language, and coordinate final documentation.

You will build broker/client relationships, answer inquiries, and provide analysis with the Global Contract Consultant team, using Marsh Re AI tools after training and mentoring newer staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of reinsurance experience in a professional setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in a relevant field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Negotiation skills and ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of contract law concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of reinsurance contracts for assigned accounts.
• Draft contract language reflecting reinsurance negotiations between clients and reinsurers.
• Initiate contract transmittals and coordinate execution of final documentation.
• Build relationships with reinsurance brokers and clients.
• Answer contract-related inquiries for assigned accounts.
• Provide reinsurance contract analysis independently or with the Global Contract Consultant team.

• Mentor and facilitate colleagues new to the industry through the Contract Drafter Academy.
• Lead or collaborate on Contracts Team projects.
• Create and present training on reinsurance industry topics.
• Develop workflow tools to improve work-product efficiency and accuracy.
