Job summary

WMATA is seeking a Contract Administrator III in Tyson s, VA to lead public procurement activities across a broad range of goods and services that support Metro’s transportation network. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, from solicitation through close-out, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of government procurement, negotiation skills, and the ability to advise stakeholders on contract interpretation and policy

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of government procurement principles and contract administration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus practical procurement experience as specified.
• Certification from NCMA/CPCM/UPPCC/ISM/NIGP must be obtained within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire contract life cycle from proposal to close-out on all assigned contracts.
• Plan the procurement process from receipt of procurement requests through solicitation, negotiation, and award.
• Coordinate award process and prepare documentation for Board of Directors approval.
