Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is expanding its marketing division and seeking a Content Strategist to lead strategy, performance, and client-facing leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO, and conversion optimization.

This is a hybrid strategic/operational role focused on shaping strategy during sales calls, overseeing internal and external teams, and delivering measurable client outcomes with clear roadmaps and QA processes.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in PPC, SEO or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Expertise with Google Ads, GA4 and Google Search Console.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Create growth roadmaps (90 days, 6 months, 12 months).
• Own client performance across paid and organic search.
• Audit campaigns, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical and on-page SEO, link building, and AI-driven content.
• Track KPIs, attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Provide weekly direction and coordinate with the marketing PM.
• Present monthly/quarterly performance to clients.
