Relational organizing is the simple, proven concept that people talking to their friends and family is more effective than strangers talking to strangers. Our flagship product, Rally, is a social graph, power-mapping tool, and program management platform that makes running scaled relational programs simple. Our in-house program team brings their deep experience to supercharge the programs that run on Rally and mobilize communities at scale to have meaningful conversations, get out the vote, and so much more.

About The Role

In 2025, Relentless is running compensated relational programs in multiple battleground states using Rally. Our programs will hire thousands of low turnout voters to become relational organizers in their communities and mobilize their friends and families to vote. We’re looking for a creative and experienced Senior Content Manager to help power and scale this program.

The Senior Content Manager will oversee the creation and execution of all content for our 2025 programs. The Senior Content Manager will report directly to the Deputy Director of Participant Experience: Content & Events.

A great Senior Content Manager is someone who is excited to develop and maintain a consistent voice for our 2025 programs. A good fit for this role is someone who is excellent with structure and deadlines, creating a plan and executing it. You’re a good fit for this role if you are passionate about combining creativity, instructional design, and technical skills to produce content that enhances the participant and staff experience.

This is a full-time, remote, and temporary position with an estimated start date of July 15th, 2025 and an end date of November 21, 2025.

Details & Compensation

Location: Remote

Compensation: $6500/mo

Benefits: 100% employer-paid health and life insurance, 99% employer-paid dental and vision insurance

Schedule: Full-time July 15, 2025 through November 21, 2025

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Deputy Director & Director of Participant Experience, along with the CEO and Chief of Staff, to develop the written and visual voice of all 2025 programs.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the voice of the program in all written and visual communications.
  • Work closely with other departments to draft or be the first level approver on all written materials for the 2025 program, including both participant-facing external materials, and staff-facing internal materials.
  • Oversee creation and execution of the 2025 content plan for up to three separate programs / state-specific elections, including a participant onboarding video, participant FAQs, scripts for texts, calls, and events, participant resources and materials, voter protection resources, and staff training materials. While programs will be similar, the branding and voice of each program will differ.
  • Design content that incorporates a variety of learning styles and methods, catering to diverse audience needs.
  • Develop and maintain a digital library of training materials, resources, and templates for easy access and reuse.
  • Continuously refine and improve content based on user feedback and evolving needs.
  • Other tasks as assigned in relation to the success of the program.

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a highly-collaborative remote work environment. This position is entirely virtual and applicants will need access to reliable internet and be proficient in using online tools (Zoom, Google workspace, etc.) to do this job.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
  • Design Experience (Especially Canva, we LOVE Canva)
  • Experience creating training materials for a campaign or advocacy initiative
  • Takes initiative to support others, provide help and problem solve with empathy
  • A passion for Democratic political activism and progressive values
  • Experience managing staff—either paid or volunteer
  • A willingness to be deployed where needed within the team—as content is created and Election Day nears, we will need all hands on deck to get to the finish line, even outside of the scope of content creation.
    • Note: this refers to being deployed to work supporting other teams, not physically being deployed to a location! The role is virtual :).
  • Not required but would love to know if you have any of the below:
    • Video editing experience (Captions counts!)
    • Experience working with relational programs
    • Ability to speak/write in any additional languages
This work will require being available nights and weekends during peak program days and as Election Day nears. The Senior Content Manager should expect to be online and available six days a week from September 8th-November 14th.
