Job summary

Gamers Choice in Long Island City, NY is seeking a Senior Content Strategist to own the brand’s organic content strategy end-to-end across social, email, and community channels. You will architect systems and workflows to scale content, guide the Marketing Coordinator, and drive AI-assisted processes for efficiency.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, building an organic content engine from the ground up, with extended hours during peak seasons and store launches. Report to Chief of Staff.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8+ years in content marketing, social strategy, or brand content.
• Experience building an organic content program from the ground up.
• Experience designing content strategy and systems, not only producing content.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve organic content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
• Build an organic content machine.
• Architect and own email and lifecycle marketing strategy (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar).
• Design and lead the content production workflow, including AI-assisted tools.
• Manage and grow our Discord community.
• Build measurement frameworks connecting content and email performance to audience growth and revenue.
• Partner with leadership on creator partnerships, product drops, and in-store event storytelling.
