Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Alameda, CA is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Lingo, Abbott's consumer wearable CGM initiative. You will shape insights and behavior change, turning raw glucose data into personalized, actionable recommendations, and build engagement through reward loops.

You will drive the roadmap for insights and behavior change, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Sales and Product Marketing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience at a consumer tech company or organization.
  • Proven track record of taking products from concept to successful market adoption.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive improvement of product and user experience.

The Opportunity

Lingo, Abbott's consumer wearable division, brings continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology to everyday consumers, combining biosensor data, real-time analytics, and personalized insights to help people live fuller, healthier lives. We're seeking a curious, entrepreneurial, data-driven Senior Product Manager to shape the insights and behavior change experience. Your mission: turn raw glucose data into personalized, actionable insights, and build sustainable engagement through reward loops that celebrate progress and reinforce lasting habits, making Lingo a trusted daily companion.

You’ll drive the roadmap for insights and behavior change, working closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Sales, and Product Marketing. Reporting to the Director of Product, this is a high-impact, visible role owning the full product lifecycle, with real impact on people's health.

This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You’ll Work On

  • Be the voice of our users. Conduct high-impact user research and leverage user feedback in all its forms to accurately capture and represent user needs and the way they interact with our product. Use those insights to inform product decisions, build stronger confidence in our direction and ensure we meet user needs while driving meaningful business outcomes.
  • Roadmap development and prioritization: Craft a clear roadmap of highly prioritized features and initiatives that deliver against the product vision & strategy and drive business impact.
  • Lead end-to-end product development. Lead the discovery, ideation, scoping, execution, and launch of user centric features to address user problems and business opportunities. Define key performance metrics for your features and closely analyze product performance to measure success, identify gaps and areas of improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence through collaboration and communication. Lead and collaborate with design, engineering and other cross functional peers and leadership to provide input and visibility into the product development process and define and ship a consistent, high-quality experience across the “whole product”.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience at a consumer tech company or organization
  • Proven track record of taking products from concept to successful market adoption.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate customer problems and product solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities to improve the product and user experience.
  • Skilled at using insights and resources to achieve a high level of conviction before development begins.
  • A creative, out-of-the-box product thinker who is passionate about improving access to and outcomes in mental health.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work cross-functionally and tap into the expertise of stakeholders to find optimal solutions.
  • High customer empathy with a strong focus on execution and being able to put ideas into action.
  • You expertly blend quantitative and qualitative inputs, as warranted by each individual situation.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and excels at transforming ambiguity into clarity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or enterprise benefits is a plus.

The base pay for this position is $114,000.00 – $228,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
