Your role as a Senior Consumer Lending Underwriter

As a Senior Consumer Lending Underwriter at One Community Bank, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless lending experience for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to underwrite a variety of mortgage and consumer loans, leveraging your extensive knowledge of One Community Bank portfolio guidelines alongside state and federal regulations. You will work collaboratively with the Consumer Operations Supervisor, Lenders, Processors, and Closers to evaluate loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step. Your expertise will guide mortgage loan originators and processors, providing vital feedback for continuous improvement.

In addition to maintaining high standards of service and adhering to fair lending policies, you will support the dynamic needs of our organization by participating in systems upgrades and training new team members.
