Wipfli in the United States seeks a Senior Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant to develop and provide solutions for clients pursuing operational excellence and advanced financial systems. The role supports national-based client deployments, ranging from small to large Sage Intacct projects, under leadership from a Manager or Senior Manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in professional services or accounting/finance industry.
  • Sage Intacct implementation experience (cloud-based acceptable).

  • Occasional Monday–Friday travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in projects to evolve technology and consulting including AI and trends.
  • Provide direction, feedback, and leadership amid rapid change.
  • Design and configure Sage Intacct accounting solutions with client leadership.
  • Collect data, interview clients, prepare reports, and act as SME on projects.
  • Develop and monitor project work plans, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Mentor Consultants and contribute to business development maturity.

Job Summary

Under the direction of aManager, or Senior Manager/Director, the Senior Consultant will develop and provide solutions for clients pursuing operational excellence and/or technical solutions. The Senior Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant will play a key role in our national-based client support with both small and large scale implementations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizes, leads, andparticipatesin efforts to ensure the team keeps pace in the evolution oftechnology and consulting including AI, systems, and trends.
  • Providesdirection, feedback,and leadershipin an environment of rapid change.
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives within the organization byidentifyingareas for enhancement, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing strategies to enhance overall performance.
  • Proposestailored solutionsthat are linked to client business needs.
  • Collects and analyzes relevant data, conducts client interviews, preparesworkpapers and reports, and servesas lead subject matter experton projects.
  • Plays a pivotal role in designing and configuring accounting systems, working in collaboration withaccounting and IT client leadershiptoestablishrobust systems that streamline financial processes,maintaindata integrity, and support compliance.
  • Generates comprehensive financial and operational reports by analyzing data, synthesizing information, and presenting key insights to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with finance, operations, and other relevant teams to ensureaccurateandtimelyreporting.
  • Organizes,establishes, andmonitorsprogress on project work plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Escalates issues with timeline, scope and budget to engagement manager and/or industry leader.
  • Serves as a lead inservices andbusiness developmentmaturity including asset andmethodologydesign and upkeep.
  • Trains, mentors and/orservesas performance coach to Consultant I’s and Consultant II’s. Delegates and leverages work to ensure staff development.
  • Perform emergency on-site or remote support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a professional services firm or 5+ years of private industry experience focused on the financial and/or accounting space.
  • Implementation experience with Sage Intacct(experience with anequivalent Cloud-based technologymay also be considered).
  • Openly discusses real or potential problems with clients or project team members, listening,comprehending, confirming, andrepresentingclient requirements with various levels of stakeholder.
  • Occasional Monday through Friday travelrequired

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Training,supportor consulting advisory experience.
  • Experience with compliance or professional standards associated withareaof expertise.
  • Experience in the NGE (Non-Profit, Government, and Education) or Healthcare industry.
  • Works towards obtaining additionalappropriate advancedcertifications.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000 to $118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
