Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Denver, CO area to develop and implement solutions for clients, in both consultative and technical contexts. The role involves interfacing with clients, guiding projects, and delivering improvements to business processes and IT landscapes.

The successful candidate will have a strong mix of technical expertise and client-facing skills, with Azure/AD proficiency and prior professional services experience, and will travel up to 15% within Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years technology solutions experience in a professional services firm or 10+ years in private industry with 1+ years in a professional services firm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel to client locations within the U.S.
• Possesses or works towards obtaining appropriate advanced certifications.
• Demonstrated blend of technical expertise and consultative ability to assess needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects under pressure while quickly responding to unexpected events.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues and coordinate with SMEs or project teams.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, SharePoint, endpoints, servers, and cloud apps.
• Document and maintain client technology roadmaps and security reviews with clear business impact.
• Lead recurring client maintenance and security review discussions and roadmap progress.
• Identify risks and modernization opportunities and develop actionable solutions.
• Scope, price, and monitor project work plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

The Senior Consultant can work either 100% in person or in a hybrid environment, with office visits as needed, in the Denver, CO area. About 15% travel to client locations in CO is required.

TheSenior Consultantwill develop and implement solutions for clients that are either consultative or technical in nature that provide improvements to the client’s business processes and information technology. They willinterface regularly withclients and othersoutsideWipfli.

Responsibilities

• Act as alevel-threeescalation resource for complex service desk issues, troubleshooting client technology environments, gathering requirements, diagnosing local network/server/cloud issues, and coordinating with internal SMEs or project teams to drive resolutions
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Active Directory/Active Directory, SharePoint, endpoint devices, servers, virtualizedenvironments, local networks, firewalls, switches, and cloud-based applications
• Documentandmaintainclient technology roadmaps, baseline security reviews, and prioritized improvement plans thatclearly explain technical findings, business impact, priorities, and recommended next steps
• Lead recurring client maintenance and security review discussions by analyzing reports related to stale users and devices, antivirus coverage, security score gaps, auditing/security settings, network equipment, and roadmap progress
• Identifyrisks, modernization opportunities, and process improvements, present clear and actionable recommendations, and develop solutions
• Scope, price,andmonitor project work plans, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and out-of-scope requestsfor internal and client projects
• Proactively communicate cost, quality, schedule, and risks to project leaderand recommend practical solutions; proactively communicate work plan status with client
• Train and mentor Consultant I’s and Consultant II’s; delegate and leverage work to enable associate development
• Leads andparticipatesin research and development and foundational efforts to position the team to learn, develop, and deliver innovative solutions to the market

The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000-118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
