Job summary

EY is recruiting a Senior Consultant to support risk transformation across finance and revenue systems, embedding controls into processes and platforms within a global, dynamic environment.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the role involves working with engagement teams, client stakeholders, and cross-functional units to drive SOX compliance, revenue accounting, and ERP integration while traveling and maintaining hybrid onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2–4 years of risk consulting, accounting, or audit experience.
• Exposure to SOX 404 compliance activities, including process walkthroughs, control testing, and RCM documentation.
• Experience supporting Technology, Media, or Telecommunications (TMT) organizations or clients.
• Foundational experience with revenue accounting (ASC 606) and related finance processes.
• Experience supporting finance systems, process improvement, or control-related projects.
• Exposure to RevOps processes and ERP/revenue platforms.
• Willingness to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area with hybrid onsite expectations (2–3 days) and travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk transformation tasks in engagements, including revenue systems and control implementations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and RevOps client stakeholders on project activities.
• Document and implement process and control frameworks across the revenue lifecycle.
• Support integration of controls within ERP, billing, and revenue platforms.
• Perform revenue reconciliation and data alignment analyses.
• Contribute to risk considerations within system implementations; support ITGC testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, RevOps, and engineering.
• Assist engagement teams in delivering accurate, timely outputs.
