Job Description:

Epiq is seeking a dynamic individual to design, implement and enhance Records & Information Governance (RIG) for clients across all industry verticals. Reporting to Epiq’s RIG Senior Director, this position is part of a team of RIG subject matter experts responsible for building both internal and external relationships, creating strategy, and supporting Epiq RIG outsourced operations with program maturity. This position requires strong technology skills with experience developing and leading initiatives to transition to “less” paper environments. Additionally, this position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in policy/procedure creation, and staff training. The position will track and bill time for consulting and advisory services, and up to 20-30% travel may be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelors Degree

  2. Certified Records Manager (CRM), CRM candidate, or Information Governance Professional (IGP) preferred

  3. 5 years or more Records & Information Governance experience working for a large multiple office law firm(s) preferred

  4. RIG experience must include developing, planning and implementing RIG Programs (electronic & paper), including records retention

  5. Strong technical skills required including working knowledge of leading records management software programs, document management systems

  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills

  7. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

  8. Ability to perform RIG benchmarking assessments, and collect, analyze and interpret data

  9. Ability to assist in the design and implementation of customized workflows

  10. Interview, develop and mentor all levels of RIG staff

  11. Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

To succeed in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The responsibilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Key areas of focus will include but are not limited to:

  1. Develop and deliver compelling RIG consulting services to Epiq customers

  2. Create thought leadership content in support of marketing efforts

  3. Contribute to proposal content as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  4. Support pre-sales and sales opportunities as a RIG SME

  5. Support solution development and best practices related to our RIG Services solution offerings across all industry verticals

  6. Strong project management skills

  7. Prepare and present client reports, including forecasting trends and identifying opportunities

  8. Effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, and employees

  9. Solving RIG problems and focusing on solutions. Interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies

The Compensation range for this role is 107,562 to 151,560 USD per year and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be highly dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
