Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Consultant, Project Delivery to drive business transformations from requirements discovery through delivery. You will partner with stakeholders, technology teams, sponsors, and cross-functional partners to ensure solutions meet business objectives and projects are delivered successfully.

The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, planning, scheduling, and risk management, with an onsite client or Cognizant office work model.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of proven experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management roles.
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Strong process analysis skills with the ability to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Experience leading end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including test case creation, UAT coordination, defect management, and solution validation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring.
• Develop project plans, timelines, risk logs, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and timely completion of deliverables.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change requests to maintain project health.
• Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

About the role

As a Senior Consultant, Project Delivery, you will make an impact by driving business transformation initiatives from requirements discovery through project delivery. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technology teams, project sponsors, and cross-functional partners to ensure solutions meet business objectives and projects are delivered successfully.

In this role, you will:

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and workflow documentation
• Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder communication
• Manage testing activities, UAT coordination, project risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure successful implementation of solutions

Work model – Onsite

What you must have to be considered

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - 116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
