HIG’s Healthcare Services practice (HCS) focuses on serving private equity firm’s portfolio companies and public and private healthcare companies. Our HCS services include performance improvement/operational turnarounds, cost optimization, M&A services, finance operations, and interim management:

• Performance Improvement/Operational Turnaround: We assess businesses and identify key areas impeding performance quickly and effectively.
• Cost Optimization: A&M’s cost optimization program focuses on identifying high-impact opportunities for EBITDA and cash flow improvements across the entire cost structure.
• M&A Services: A&M supports companies throughout the M&A lifecycle, including operational/synergy due diligence and integration planning.
• Finance Operations: A&M drives improvement to its clients’ finance operations.
• Interim Management: Experienced operators may step into interim roles to drive change.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with healthcare clients on a range of complex assignments. Responsibilities may include:

• Identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce cost structure.
• Reviewing Go to Market strategies.
• Building and managing financial models and analyses.
• Providing project management assistance to clients.
• Utilizing project management tools to track activities.
• Providing guidance to manage clients through crises.
• Developing operational data analysis to track KPI metrics.
• Summarizing and creating recommendations from data.
• Leading various work streams within projects.
• Preparing client-ready deliverables and presentations.
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
• Building relationships with clients.
• Supporting marketing initiatives.

Working as a partner to our clients, you will develop an in-depth understanding of their processes and key operational performance drivers.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset who can manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment:

General Skills:

• High energy individuals with a passion for healthcare.
• A minimum of six (6) years of prior work experience in healthcare with a MedTech focus.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Solid project management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of the MedTech industry.
• Prior experience working with PE firms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• BA/BS degree and/or MBA/MS in related fields.

Operational Skills:

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management strategies.

Compensation Statement

The annual base salary range is $125 – $150k commensurate with experience. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits.
