Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant to support CFO advisory engagements for Fortune 500 clients, developing knowledge tools and client relationships. You will work with finance leaders to design and execute financial technologies and processes that streamline operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to internal practice development while traveling to client sites and FTI offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Masters’ degree in a Business related major or Economics.
• 3+ years of experience in financial consulting or advisory, or in a Corporate rotational program focused on developing financial leaders, or in execution or leadership roles in an industry finance, accounting or FP&A function
• Experience as an external (or internal) consultant with FP&A, Accounting & Financial Reporting, Finance Transformation, Finance Technology, or Cash, Cost, and Capital
• Ability to quickly synthesize and advise on complex financial and operational concepts and issues; and translate those to clear and actionable recommendations and insights
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and ability to develop financial models with minimal oversight
• Ability to travel to client sites and FTI office(s) as needed

What You’ll Do

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Masters’ degree in a Business related major or Economics.
• 3+ years of experience in financial consulting or advisory, or in a Corporate rotational program focused on developing financial leaders, or in execution or leadership roles in an industry finance, accounting or FP&A function
• Experience as an external (or internal consultant) with demonstrated experience in 1 or more of the following areas: FP&A, Accounting & Financial Reporting, Finance Transformation, Finance Technology, and/or Cash, Cost, and Capital
• Ability to quickly synthesize and advise on complex financial and operational concepts and issues; and translate those to clear and actionable recommendations and insights
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and ability to develop financial models with minimal oversight
• Ability to travel to client sites and FTI office(s) as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with business intelligence tools and/or data analytics is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) certification, or MBA is preferred

Minimum Pay: $78,500

Maximum Pay: $163,000

Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
