FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Investment Administration and Reporting subpractice within Real Estate Solutions. The role focuses on outsourced accounting, financial reporting support, and US GAAP compliance for public and private clients, including REITs and mortgage finance entities.
You will develop and maintain client financial statements, lead month-end close, and prepare journal entries, working papers, and management reports.

FTI’s Investment Administration and Reporting subpractice in Real Estate Solutions offering has a primary focus on the real estate and finance industry and the capital markets that serve it. Our services are designed to create integrated financial and tax solutions for clients. We provide an unsurpassed range of real estate advisory services including merger and acquisitions, due diligence, valuation, lease consulting, forensic accounting, financial outsourcing, IPO preparation, real estate and REIT tax structuring and compliance, executive compensation, master planning and development services, cost segregation and private client services. We represent leading public and private real estate entities including equity and mortgage REITs, financial institutions, investment banks, opportunity funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, pension advisors and owners/developers.
We provide outsourced accounting services to public and private companies, including REITs, mortgage finance companies, real estate private equity funds, developers, and operators. The senior consultant will interact directly with clients, including their management as well as supervisors. The senior consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial reporting support work papers, preparing and posting journal entries, and maintaining and updating the client’s general ledgers and adjusted trial balances. The position requires that you be an assertive self-starter and a proactive problem solver. Responsiveness to client deadlines (for both financial statements and special projects) is essential. The candidate should possess strong accounting skills including knowledge of US GAAP and demonstrate the ability to grow their technical expertise.

Minimum Pay: $78,500
Maximum Pay: $163,000
